It is my pleasure to introduce you to Cissy Padgett. I have known Cissy for approximately ten years. She has been an inspiration and a blessing as she travels and ministers. She sings with her heart and soul and with an anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Cissy and Bill (her husband) have been traveling in their music ministry for about four years across Montana, Idaho, Texas, Alaska, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, etc. They have toured Romania with the General Superintendent of Romania, Dr. Ioan Ceuta and have been asked to return. In November 2007 they [journeyed to] Thailand to sing in Revivals/Evangelistic meetings and in Churches.

I am pleased to write in behalf of Cissy Padgett whose ministry of Music with a Mission blessed our congregation recently. Cissy and her husband live in the beautiful country of Montana, but have a heart that literally reaches around the world. As an accomplished singer and author, Cissy has sung across America and now in other countries including a recent trip to Romania and. . .Thailand.

Cissy sings a mixture of southern gospel and contemporary music. She is able to communicate across generational lines with a true heart for people, a passion for reaching the lost, and an ability to bring the hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who share in her worship services.

As a mother of three and grandmother of ten, she has a wonderful ability to communicate the gospel to children and offers helps to parents and grandparents in fulfilling their important ministry of teaching the younger generations about Christ. I am writing to recommend to you the music ministry of Cissy Padgett, Music with a Mission out of Helena, Montana. Cissy has ministered at many events here in the Montana District and will be welcomed at many more to come. She has led hearts to the throne during our camp services, District Council, Missions banquets, Women's Retreats, and other special services and concerts. She also sang at our state capitol for the National Day of Prayer, at political events and at various city & church sponsored events around the state.

Cissy is an anointed and talented vocalist with a gracious heart and a genuine passion for the Lord. There is nothing in her style or presentation that is self-glorifying. Cissy Padgett is a true musician - a vocalist with a personalized touch singing from her heart to touch others. Her Christian music, using a variety of styles, pleases the audience. She is very pleasant, up-beat and has a sparkle that makes watching and listening to her a real joy.

We have had Cissy twice as our soloist for the Montana Women's Retreat held each fall. Both times she has touched many, many lives. Her ministry, "Music With A Mission," is certainly lived out in her life. We also have used her in the District on various occasions. I highly recommend Cissy. There truly is an anointing of the Lord upon her life as she shares the message of the gospel through song.

We have had the privilege of having Cissy at two of our Women’s Fall Conventions as well as at our church, to minister in music for our women.

Cissy does a terrific job! She is very talented and has written many of the songs she sings. An added feature is her friend who often travels with her and signs the songs as she sings. They are a great team.

Cissy’s ministry in music will be a great blessing to your ladies. I highly recommend her to you.

Cissy has a heart for God and very pleasant to work with. Her brother pastors one of our churches here in Southern Idaho and is a fine pastor.

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In November, after having heard Cissy Padgett minister in music and the Word, I invited her to participate in our outreach Missions ministry. My wife, Linda, and I have served as appointed Assemblies of God missionaries to Alaska since 1969. We have directed Camp Agaiutim Nune in western Alaska for kids, teens and families for the past twelve years. (Camp Agaiutim Nune is Yupik Eskimo for "The Place of God.") Cissy and her husband, Bill, were a tremendous blessing ministering to the Yupik Eskimos of western Alaska in our family camp this summer. Their friendliness, openness, and cultural sensitivity provided a fantastic opportunity to minister.

The Native Alaskan is so open to music, which allowed the Padgett’s a tremendous opportunity to present the gospel. Because of our experience this year, we have invited Cissy and Bill to return next summer for several weeks of ministry to some local villages in addition to our evangelism outreach camps next year. They will need your support prayerfully and financially as this is 100% Missions ministry. Please consider opening your ministry to them.

We recently hosted Cissy Padgett, "Music With a Mission" for our Sunday morning service. Our people responded enthusiastically to Cissy's ministry and presentation. She ministered in music, video and the Word. This is the kind of ministry that will be a blessing to your people and to the pastor!

Cissy was very easy to work with, flexible and prepared. She came to us without guarantees and up front costs. Cissy was very willing to come to Alaska during the cold, winter months when many traveling ministries would rather find somewhere warm and easily accessible. It is her heart to minister where there is an open door no matter the size of the church or challenge to get there.
